My Rant About My Washer & Dryer

I love not hand washing my clothes.  I love that I have a dryer that dries my stuff.  I am grateful that I’m not outdoors hanging things on a clothesline.  My clothes are washed and dried in under two hours.  This probably took all day before these machines but I could not tell you how hard it was to go to the lake and wash my stuff.

I have an old washer but it works flawlessly.  I personally rebuilt it by replacing the spring and it has worked for over a decade.  What a great invention a washer and dryer is.  I am totally convinced this is the way to go.

I would never just get rid of my washer and dryer.  I have actually washed things in my tub and that really sucked.  Worse, it poorly cleaned my clothes and then I had to hang them around my apartment for hours.  Like many hours, like 5 hours or more.

This was totally inefficient.  I am sold on having a washer and dryer.  I have even carried my clothes to a laundromat and that was tough too.  Carrying a full bag of clothes over several blocks is also not fun or efficient.

I love washers and dryers.  The two totally go together and are a perfect match like peanut butter and chocolate.  I have an old-style washer and dryer and it takes a lot of water.  I look forward to a newer model that uses a lot less of this abundant resource.

I love BJ’s and buy bulk soap for my washer.  This is totally the way to go when trying to max out the money I have set aside for washing my clothes.  I am grateful for technology and even the electricity I have in an abundant form that powers this equipment.

Thank you inventor of the washer and dryer.  The world is truly an easier and more awesome place with these machines.  I am grateful for the ability to do in just a few hours wash a shit load of stuff.

Even if I dip my stuff in mud and shit it is easy to clean through roughly without aggravation with a washer and dryer.  Thanks for these simple things that make my life better.
