About this video

Colion sits down with Omar ‘Crispy’ Avila, a retired Army veteran and motivational speaker, for a wide-ranging conversation that touches briefly on firearms and training but focuses primarily on personal stories, fitness, and life experiences. Colion and Crispy discuss training philosophies, favorite firearms setups, the mental aspects of shooting performance, and share anecdotes about injuries, basketball, street racing, and road etiquette.

• Colion shares his current favorite firearms setups, including his preference for the FN SCAR 15P in short-barrel configuration for home defense despite acknowledging velocity limitations with the 7-inch 5.56 barrel
• Colion reflects on the parallels he sees between shooting fundamentals and basketball shooting mechanics, emphasizing that consistency and automatic muscle memory are key to both disciplines
