AR 15: Sine Pari Series M4 Upper Receiver Group Initial Impression

About this video

Colion presents his initial impressions of the Telluride Tech Stray Jacket barrel system mounted on a Sinari Series M4 upper receiver. He describes the unusual composite barrel design, which the manufacturer claims reduces barrel whip, heat, and recoil while improving accuracy. Colion notes the system’s distinctive appearance and minimal perceived weight increase, and reports noticeably reduced recoil in his first range session, though he says he needs more testing before forming a final opinion.

Key takeaways

• Colion explains that the Stray Jacket uses a lightweight composite construction (thin-walled tube over a barrel core filled with proprietary material) rather than traditional heavy steel
• According to Colion, the system includes a muzzle compensator and he experienced significantly reduced recoil during his initial shooting session
• Colion states he plans further testing to verify the accuracy claims before offering a full review, though he finds the appearance and recoil reduction promising
