Armed Mother Shoots Man Breaking Into Daughters Bedroom Window In Chicago

About this video

Colion analyzes a reported home invasion incident in Chicago where an 18-year-old woman discovered an intruder climbing through her bedroom window while she was getting dressed. He describes how the mother, a licensed concealed carry holder, confronted the intruder, fired a warning shot when he continued advancing, and protected her family. Colion uses this case to argue that maternal instinct is inherently pro-self-defense and to emphasize the importance of armed self-defense, particularly noting that compliance with home invaders may not guarantee safety when the threat is personal rather than property-based.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues that no woman is truly anti-gun when it comes to protecting their children, as maternal instinct shifts toward self-defense when family is threatened
• Colion teaches that compliance with home invaders is not always a viable strategy, especially when the threat may be assault or harm rather than theft of possessions
• Colion points out that firearms used in self-defense are often confiscated for investigation and may not be returned, leaving defenders vulnerable if the attacker is released
