Biden Says AR-15s Will Be Banned if Democrats Pick Up 2 Senate Seats in November Midterm Elections

About this video

Colion argues that politicians advocating for an “assault weapons ban” are using misleading language to incrementally restrict gun rights, not to enhance public safety. He contends that when Joe Biden and anti-gun advocates say they want to ban “assault weapons,” they are actually targeting commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15, which Colion claims are used in less than one percent of gun deaths. Colion frames this as a strategic first step toward broader gun confiscation and urges viewers to vote accordingly to protect Second Amendment rights.

Key takeaways

• Colion believes the term “assault weapon” is deliberately vague and misleading, designed to confuse the public into supporting bans on popular semi-automatic rifles already in civilian hands.
• According to Colion, AR-15-style rifles account for less than one percent of gun deaths in the U.S., yet he says politicians prioritize banning them as an incremental strategy toward wider gun restrictions.
• Colion teaches that voting in midterm elections is critical because, in his view, electing certain candidates could enable an assault weapons ban and eventual confiscation of firearms from law-abiding citizens.
