First Look At FN's New Micro Compact Concealed Carry Pistol - FN Reflex

About this video

Colion reviews the FN Reflex, a new micro-compact concealed carry pistol that he describes as a miniaturized version of the FN 509. He examines the gun’s design features, including its 15-round magazine capacity, grip texture, internalized hammer trigger system, and ergonomics. Colion tests the firearm at the range and shares his observations about its shootability, recoil characteristics, and how the gun performs in draw-and-fire drills.

Key takeaways

• Colion appreciates the FN Reflex’s high capacity (15+1 rounds) in a micro-compact frame, which he views as suitable for his lifestyle while providing adequate defensive firepower
• According to Colion, the gun features what he characterizes as a ‘bouncy’ rather than ‘flippy’ recoil that helps the sights return to target quickly, making it more shootable than typical small guns
• Colion highlights the gun’s new smooth internalized hammer trigger, which he finds superior to previous FN 509 triggers, and notes the gun is available with or without an optics-ready slide at competitive price points
