FIRST MAG: THE HK VP9sk

About this video

Colion presents his hands-on review of the HK VP9 SK subcompact pistol. He praises its ergonomics, trigger quality, and shooting performance during live-fire drills, but criticizes HK for including a pinky extension that doesn’t add magazine capacity. Colion compares the VP9 SK to his Glock 26 throughout the session, noting the HK feels slightly larger and heavier but shoots impressively well.

Key takeaways

• Colion finds the VP9 SK’s trigger and shootability excellent, comparable to the full-size VP9
• According to Colion, the pinky extension adds no extra rounds, which he considers a frustrating design choice by HK
• Colion observes the VP9 SK feels noticeably larger and heavier than his Glock 26, despite being in the same subcompact class
