About this video

Colion reviews the FN15 Tac 3 AR-15 rifle, describing his initial skepticism about FN’s AR-15 line but his pleasant surprise upon handling this particular model. He walks through the rifle’s design features, build quality, ergonomics, and shooting performance, arguing that FN has produced a cohesive, high-quality AR-15 that requires few aftermarket upgrades. Colion characterizes this as FN’s ‘revenge body’ rifle—a significant improvement over their previous AR offerings.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the FN15 Tac 3 represents a major step up in FN’s AR-15 line, with impressive fit, finish, and cohesiveness between components
• He highlights specific features he appreciates: the FDE finish, in-house stock design, Hodge Defense wedge-lock rail system, enlarged Reptilia-style grip, and Radian components
• Colion teaches that the rifle’s ergonomics and build quality stood out more than raw shooting performance, noting the milspec trigger was the weakest component but still adequate
