FNH FNX 45 Tactical Review: The Civilian Tactical Masterpiece?

About this video

Colion reviews the FNX45 Tactical handgun, praising what he describes as its unapologetically tactical design and feature-rich build. He walks through the pistol’s controls, ergonomics, trigger characteristics, and 15-round capacity, arguing that it stands out among .45 ACP handguns for its balance of size, shootability, and accessory compatibility. Colion positions the gun as ideal for civilian home defense enthusiasts who want a full-featured tactical pistol at a competitive price.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the FNX45 Tactical embraces its size and weight with well-proportioned controls, optics-ready slide, threaded barrel, and ambidextrous features
• He highlights the 15-round magazine capacity as exceptional for a .45 ACP pistol, comparing it favorably to competitors like the HK45 Tactical and Glock 21
• Colion describes the double-action/single-action trigger as impressively smooth with a rhythmic reset, and notes the gun’s predictable recoil despite its mass when fully accessorized
