Former British COP Exposes The Truth About Guns In The UK - CNP #16

About this video

Colion interviews Alex, a former British counterterrorism firearms officer, who shares his experiences working armed operations in the UK and compares British and American gun cultures. Alex describes the UK’s strict licensing system, the reality of armed criminality in London that goes unreported, and his transition to firearms instruction in America. Colion and Alex discuss the importance of practical training over equipment, the misconceptions surrounding defensive gun use, and argue that firearm safety education should be more widespread in American culture.

Key takeaways

• According to Alex, the UK has significant armed gang violence that goes largely unreported, with specialized units like Operation Trident dedicated solely to black-on-black shootings in London
• Alex emphasizes that defensive gun use training should focus on close-quarters, chaotic scenarios rather than static range shooting, and that most gun owners lack adequate training for real confrontational situations
• Both Colion and Alex argue that mandatory firearm safety education in schools could significantly reduce accidents and misconceptions, creating a more informed gun culture even among non-gun owners
