He Got Called Racist For Posting Reckless Gun Clips

About this video

Colion analyzes a controversy surrounding a content creator accused of only posting videos of black people being reckless with guns. He argues that the issue is not about race but about ‘street gun culture’ versus responsible gun ownership, explaining his view that social media algorithms amplify the worst behavior while hiding responsible gun owners of all backgrounds. Colion further contends that anti-gun advocates have deliberately painted gun culture as exclusionary to divide communities and keep certain groups away from exercising Second Amendment rights.

Key takeaways

• Colion distinguishes between ‘street’ gun culture (which he describes as driven by survival, status, and lack of training) and responsible gun ownership, arguing the distinction has nothing to do with race or appearance
• According to Colion, social media algorithms deliberately surface the most reckless gun-handling content because outrage drives engagement, creating a distorted picture that ignores the many responsible gun owners across all communities
• Colion teaches that anti-gun forces have intentionally created divisions within gun culture to discourage certain communities from embracing Second Amendment rights, and that responsible gun ownership transcends all demographic boundaries
