HR127: These Gun Control Bills are NOT About Savings Lives, They're about Money, Power, & Control

About this video

Colion appears on a news program to discuss H.R. 127, a gun control bill he argues would require gun owners to register their firearms, disclose storage locations, and make that information publicly accessible. He contends that this legislation endangers law-abiding citizens rather than improving safety, and argues that progressive politicians pursue incremental restrictions as a means of control rather than genuine public safety. Colion warns that compliance with such laws would leave only criminals armed, since he believes criminals obtain firearms illegally and would not comply with registration requirements.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues H.R. 127 would mandate public disclosure of gun ownership and storage locations, which he believes would enable theft and endanger owners
• He contends that incremental gun control measures (background checks, registration, confiscation) are ineffective against criminals who he says acquire guns illegally and won’t comply
• Colion claims that lawmakers pushing such legislation have armed security protecting them while ordinary citizens would be disarmed, framing the issue as one of power and control rather than safety
