I Created The Poor Mans MP7 | Ruger LC Charger SBR

About this video

Colion walks through his custom build of a Ruger LC Carbine, which he describes as his version of a ‘poor man’s MP7.’ He details the accessories he selected (optic, laser, light, suppressor, foregrip, and stock), explains his setup choices for potential night vision use, and shares his experience shooting the platform both suppressed and unsuppressed. Colion emphasizes the gun’s low recoil, maneuverability, and fun factor, while acknowledging that his accessory choices cost significantly more than the base firearm itself.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the Ruger LC Carbine platform offers a budget-friendly alternative to the HK MP7, which he notes is unavailable to civilians, even though his personal build includes expensive accessories
• Colion explains his night-vision-oriented setup choices, including a visible/IR laser, IR-capable light, pass-through optic, and pressure switch, which he says allows him to run multiple systems in unison
• Colion describes the gun as extremely soft-shooting with minimal recoil, calling it a ‘pillow princess,’ and reports it remains highly controllable even when suppressed and shot one-handed
