I Hated Mounting Optics & Scopes Until I found These Mounts

About this video

Colion tours the Scalarworks booth at a trade show, where company representatives demonstrate several new and updated firearm optics mounting products. He examines their updated LEAP 7 scope mount with a new offset RMR mount, their PEAK 2 folding backup iron sights (including what they describe as the first 1.93-height BUIS), and their KICK 01 riser system. Colion praises the engineering and design of each product throughout the demonstration.

Key takeaways

• Colion highlights Scalarworks’ new sidekick offset mount, which the company claims uses a 35-degree rotation angle from bore centerline for faster transitions between scope and red dot
• Colion showcases what Scalarworks presents as the industry’s first 1.93-height folding backup iron sights, which the manufacturer says allow co-witness with taller optic mounts
• Colion examines the KICK 01 riser, which Scalarworks reports adds 0.69 inches to any mount to achieve Unity Tactical-equivalent height
