Is This Rifle Better Than The AK-47? - MK47 CMMG Dissent First Mag

About this video

Colion discusses the CMMG Nemesis Mark 47, which he describes as a hybrid platform combining elements of the AK-47, AR-15, and SIG MCX. Colion praises the rifle’s smooth shooting characteristics, fast trigger reset, non-reciprocating side charging handle, and improved ergonomics over traditional AKs, suggesting it could serve as a primary rifle for collectors or those seeking something different from standard AR or AK platforms.

Key takeaways

• According to Colion, the Mark 47 combines AK caliber and magazines with AR ergonomics and a folding stock design, creating what he calls a ‘mutant’ platform
• Colion reports the rifle shoots exceptionally smooth with a very short trigger reset, making rapid fire easy and controllable
