Kelly Osbourne Announces She's Leaving United States Over School Shootings

About this video

Colion responds to celebrity Kelly Osbourne’s announcement that she plans to move back to England once her son reaches school age due to her fear of school shootings in America. Colion argues that her concerns are overblown by media sensationalism, pointing out that school shootings are statistically rare despite heavy news coverage. He suggests her statement is attention-seeking behavior and critiques her position by noting that violence exists everywhere, including the UK, and that if she doesn’t value Second Amendment rights, she should leave rather than support restrictions on those who do.

Key takeaways

• Colion contends that school shootings, while tragic, are statistically rare and heavily sensationalized by mainstream media, making them appear more common than they actually are
• Colion argues that relocating to avoid gun violence doesn’t eliminate safety concerns, as violence (including stabbings and shootings) exists in the UK and other countries as well
• Colion believes that people who don’t respect or appreciate Second Amendment rights should move to countries without gun rights rather than advocate for restrictions that affect rights-valuing Americans
