My Quasi Anti-Gun Friend Shoots The M&P 15-22 on NOIR

About this video

Colion takes viewers through a dynamic 22-caliber shooting drill at an outdoor range with his team, including Antonique, a friend’s second-time shooter who had a negative first experience with larger calibers. He emphasizes his belief in starting new shooters with 22s rather than 9mm or 45 caliber handguns, and reflects on viewer feedback about muzzle safety from a previous video. Colion advocates for progressive training and outdoor ranges to create positive first experiences for new shooters.

Key takeaways

• Colion stresses that new shooters should start with 22-caliber firearms rather than larger calibers like 9mm or 45 to avoid overwhelming them and creating negative experiences
• Colion acknowledges viewer criticism about his muzzle direction in a previous video, demonstrating his view that even experienced shooters can learn from safety feedback
• Colion argues that outdoor ranges generally provide better experiences than indoor ranges due to space, reduced concussion, and opportunities for dynamic movement
• Colion reminds viewers that off-camera safety instruction and handling practice precede the drills shown, emphasizing that proper training should come before attempting dynamic shooting exercises
