NOIR Season 3 | Ep.7: "Guns Save Lives" w/ Gabby Franco

About this video

Colion reflects on his travels meeting gun owners and advocates across the country, emphasizing that firearms represent more than just tools—they symbolize the fundamental right to self-preservation. He shares stories from everyday gun owners, Olympic shooter Gabby Franco, and two men who successfully used firearms defensively, arguing that responsible gun ownership is about taking personal responsibility for one’s safety. Colion contrasts these perspectives with what he describes as anti-gun arguments, advocating for broader, more inclusive conversations about Second Amendment rights.

Key takeaways

• Colion emphasizes that firearm ownership, in his view, is fundamentally about the right to self-preservation and personal responsibility for one’s safety, not just hunting or sport
• Colion presents accounts from individuals who report using firearms defensively without discharging them, framing these as examples of successful conflict resolution through armed preparedness
• Colion argues that engaging people outside the gun community through education and real conversation is essential to defending Second Amendment rights, rather than relying on what he characterizes as politicized media narratives
