Sig Sauer MCX RATTLER | FIRST MAG REVIEW

About this video

Colion demonstrates and reviews the Sig Sauer Rattler 300 Blackout pistol with a 6-inch barrel, testing it with both subsonic and supersonic ammunition while suppressed. He explains why he believes this compact firearm is well-suited for urban self-defense scenarios like his downtown living situation. Colion compares the Rattler’s size and weight characteristics to the Honeybadger, noting trade-offs between compactness and weight.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the Rattler’s compact size makes it ideal for urban environments and backpack storage when paired with a smaller suppressor
• Colion observes the Rattler is noticeably heavier than the Honeybadger but achieves a smaller overall package
• Colion reports manageable recoil with subsonic ammunition and notes the firearm runs very quietly when suppressed
