Star Wars Actor 'Luke Skywalker' Joins Anti-Gun Groups To Attack 2A Rights

About this video

Colion critiques a social media post by Mark Hamill about gun violence statistics, arguing that the framing is misleading and lacks important context. He contends that comparing only developed nations ignores the socioeconomic roots of violence, and that most gun deaths are suicides rather than homicides. Colion emphasizes his view that defensive gun uses vastly outnumber gun deaths, citing CDC data he interprets as showing hundreds of thousands to millions of annual defensive uses.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues that limiting gun homicide comparisons to developed nations is elitist and overlooks the socioeconomic factors driving violence in poor, underdeveloped areas both internationally and within U.S. cities.
• He contends that over half of daily gun deaths are suicides, which he frames as a mental health issue rather than a gun issue.
