Tampa Woman Attacked In Apartment Gym, Do You Carry To The Gym?

About this video

Colion analyzes surveillance footage of a woman who fought off an attacker at her apartment gym, arguing that while she successfully defended herself through physical resistance, the outcome could have been much worse against a more determined assailant. He uses this incident to advocate for his view that firearms serve as equalizers in self-defense situations, particularly for women facing larger, stronger attackers. Colion also discusses what he sees as society’s false sense of security in seemingly safe spaces like gyms and churches, and criticizes the tendency to prioritize politeness over personal safety.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues that physical fitness and self-defense training alone may not be sufficient against a determined attacker, and advocates for firearm training as an equalizer
• According to Colion, people often have a false sense of security in places like gyms and churches, citing what he describes as multiple instances of violence in these locations
• Colion suggests that societal pressure to avoid being rude can compromise personal safety, such as when allowing strangers into secure areas
