The .45 acp Ruger LC Carbine | It Keeps Getting Better

About this video

Colion reviews the Ruger LC Carbine chambered in .45 ACP, describing it as a pistol-caliber carbine with a unique, sleek rifle-like design. He walks through the platform’s features including the collapsible stock, Glock magazine compatibility, controls layout, and 16-inch threaded barrel. Colion explains his experience with the gun’s ergonomics, trigger quality, recoil characteristics, and suppressed performance, noting both what he likes and areas where he’d prefer different control placements.

Key takeaways

• Colion describes the Ruger LC Carbine in .45 as having excellent balance and a sleek design that grew on him over time, with the weight centered over the pistol grip making target transitions easy
• Colion reports the trigger has a clean, short take-up and breaks at about 5 pounds, performing especially well when running the gun quickly rather than focusing on reset
• Colion teaches that the recoil feels stout initially but dissipates quickly, and that suppressing .45 ACP through the 16-inch barrel produces very quiet performance with minimal added weight imbalance
