The Best 10-Round Micro-Compact Guns

About this video

Colion explains that he received an email asking about the best micro-compact handgun with 10 rounds, which he assumes is from someone in a magazine-restricted state. He reviews several models he personally owns and enjoys—including the Glock 26, Sig P365, Glock 43X, FN Reflex, Kimber Mete MC9, Ruger Max 9, Mossberg MC2 SC, and Springfield Hellcat—discussing their ergonomics, capacity, shootability, and suitability for deep concealment. Colion emphasizes that there is no universally “best” gun; finding the right micro-compact comes down to personal hand fit, trigger feel, and practice with the draw.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues that the Sig P365 was a game-changer in the micro-compact category, offering 10+ rounds in a slim, highly shootable package smaller than older designs like the Glock 26.
• He teaches that factors like ergonomics, trigger quality, and how a gun feels in your specific hand matter more than specs on paper, so prospective buyers should handle and dry-fire multiple models in person.
• Colion stresses the importance of practicing the draw with any micro-compact gun, since their small grip makes them harder to draw quickly and consistently than full-size pistols.
