The Best Shooting, Sexiest, Most Ergonomic Glock Ever?

About this video

Colion reviews his customized Glock 19X featuring Defcon 3’s Strike 3 slide and barrel combo paired with their Alpha frame package. He explains why the 19X is his favorite Glock and breaks down how these aftermarket modifications—including an eight-port barrel, DLC-finished slide, Ultra Velvet stippling, and enhanced ergonomics—improved what he already considered a perfect handgun. Colion describes the visual appeal, grip improvements, porting benefits for faster follow-up shots, and overall shooting performance of the upgraded firearm.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the Glock 19X’s longer grip/shorter slide configuration works exceptionally well for him despite initial skepticism
• According to Colion, porting a 9mm barrel significantly flattens recoil and enables faster follow-up shots, though it increases noise and concussion
• Colion teaches that aggressive but smooth stippling (Defcon 3’s ‘Ultra Velvet’) provides superior grip control without damaging clothing or hands
