This Could Be The Rifle Case We've Always Wanted, Magpul Daka Case With Grid Organizer

About this video

Colion tours the Magpul booth at a trade show and demonstrates their new rifle case and DAKA Grid organization system. He explains the design features Magpul representatives describe, including modular foam blocks that replace traditional pluck foam, integrated latches with built-in locks, and protective bumper zones. Colion presents this as a solution to common frustrations he reports experiencing with traditional gun cases.

Key takeaways

• Colion highlights Magpul’s DAKA Grid system as a modular alternative to traditional pluck foam that he says won’t absorb oil or chemicals and allows reconfiguration without permanently cutting foam
• Colion describes the case’s integrated latch-and-lock design and corner bumpers, which he suggests address common failure points in traditional cases
• Colion notes the system is available as a drop-in kit for existing Pelican cases (around $130-150) or as part of Magpul’s own rifle cases in multiple sizes
