This Gun is How You Convert Anti-Gunners Into Gun Owners | FN 502 MRD

About this video

Colion argues that the best way to convert anti-gun individuals into gun advocates is by introducing them to shooting with beginner-friendly firearms. He advocates for starting new shooters with .22 caliber handguns rather than higher-caliber options, using the FN 502 MRD as his preferred example because of its low recoil, familiarity to traditional handguns, and smooth transition path to defensive calibers like 9mm.

Key takeaways

• Colion believes most anti-gun sentiment stems from fear of firearms, which he says can be addressed through positive first shooting experiences
• He recommends starting new shooters with .22 caliber handguns rather than 9mm, .40, or .45 to avoid intimidation from recoil and noise
• Colion teaches that using platforms like the FN 502 MRD allows beginners to learn fundamentals on a gun that looks and feels like traditional defensive handguns, making transition to larger calibers less intimidating
