This Is My Favorite FN Rifle - FN 15 DMR 3 Review

About this video

Colion reviews the FN 15 DMR3, an 18-inch precision AR-15 platform he describes as a versatile ‘do everything rifle.’ He walks through the rifle’s features including the Geissele two-stage trigger, Hodge Defense wedge-lock handguard, rifle-length gas system, and cerakote finish. Colion demonstrates how he sets up the DMR3 with both a variable-powered optic and offset red dot for close and long-range flexibility, and explains why he considers this rifle superior to FN’s earlier offerings.

Key takeaways

• Colion argues the 18-inch barrel and rifle-length gas system provide soft recoil and allow effective shooting at extended distances while remaining balanced and maneuverable
• Colion praises the Geissele two-stage trigger as a standout feature that makes the rifle highly enjoyable to shoot and easier to modulate for precision work
• Colion recommends a dual-optic setup (variable-powered scope plus offset red dot) to maximize the DMR3’s versatility for both close-quarters and long-range applications
