TikTok Mom Mocks Gun Owners Asking Why Are They So Afraid Of A Tyrannical Government

About this video

Colion responds to a TikTok video in which a woman questions why gun rights advocates need AR-15s to protect against government tyranny. Colion argues that historical examples show governments can become tyrannical after disarming citizens, and he criticizes what he sees as inconsistency in advocating for armed resistance abroad while opposing gun rights domestically. He asserts that firearms are necessary not only for protection against potential government overreach but also for defense against criminals, emphasizing that individuals have a duty to protect themselves when government has no legal obligation to do so.

Key takeaways

• Colion contends that concerns about government tyranny are grounded in historical precedent and documented cases of disarmament followed by oppression
• Colion criticizes what he perceives as a double standard in supporting armed resistance internationally while opposing Second Amendment rights in the United States
• Colion teaches that individuals bear responsibility for their own protection because, in his view, government has no legal duty to protect citizens
