Why This Gun Frustrates Me - CZ Shadow 2 Compact First Mag Review

About this video

Colion reviews the CZ Shadow 2 Compact, expressing conflicting feelings about the firearm. He praises the gun’s aesthetics, ergonomics, build quality, and features, but struggles with its exceptionally light competition-style trigger that he argues is almost too crisp for his shooting style. Colion describes how the trigger’s minimal wall and break point caused him to fire unintentionally on first use, and he finds the gun’s recoil characteristics unexpectedly flippy despite its all-metal construction.

Key takeaways

• Colion finds the CZ Shadow 2 Compact visually appealing with excellent ergonomics, high-quality all-metal construction, and thoughtful design features like adjustable sights and fiber optic front
• According to Colion, the trigger is exceptionally light and crisp with minimal wall definition, which he says caused him to fire unintentionally and makes him feel less in control compared to the polymer guns and 2011s he typically shoots
• Colion reports the gun exhibits more muzzle flip than he expected given its compact slide and all-metal frame, placing its shooting characteristics somewhere between a 2011 and a Glock in his assessment
