Going Wide with Self Publishing? Then GET THIS...

About this video

This is a short recommendation for MK Williams and her book Going Wide, presented as the fourth book in her Author Your Ambitions series. Dale says self-publishing is overwhelming and confusing amid contradictory advice from overnight experts and disgruntled veterans, and presents Williams — an experienced self-publisher with a prolific backlog of fiction and non-fiction and a growing YouTube channel — as a sensible, big-hearted expert who offers practical steps without get-rich-quick advice or paycheck flexing. He explains that going wide means publishing beyond Amazon, but few authors know the sensible steps, so many stay exclusive to Amazon sometimes to their detriment. Like a choose-your-own-adventure book, Williams is said to provide options and alternatives for different paths, backed by real-world examples and her own missteps, and Dale strongly recommends the book for authors wanting to expand their reach.
