I Hired Fiverr to Design & Make Gifts for a Friend

About this video

In a short video, Dale explains he is using Fiverr to buy his friend Keith - a fellow author and YouTuber - a custom gift after realizing on a call before Christmas that Keith was getting him a gift and he had nothing for him. Wanting something Keith would not get from anyone else, he hires three Fiverr services. First, he orders from a caricature designer to draw Keith’s face, saying the gig was about $10, that he checked the reviews first, and that there were far more good reviews than bad ones, with delivery expected in the next couple of days. Second, because Keith is also a YouTuber, he orders a custom jingle for Keith’s channel from a seller promising to write a catchy jingle in only 24 hours at what Dale calls a reasonable price. Third, he hires an editor to bring it together as a bumper for Keith’s videos; he names the seller as Video Buzz with three z’s, says it was a custom project with fees included, and that he had to wait a week for delivery. He ends by pointing viewers to videos showing Keith’s reaction and Keith’s side of the story.
