Self-Publishing with Dale | Channel Updates, 10,000 Subscribers & More!

About this video

Dale welcomes viewers to Self-Publishing with Dale, a channel focused on publishing books that sell and building an author brand, covering platforms including Kindle Direct Publishing, Smashwords, Draft2Digital and PublishDrive. He announces a shift toward easily consumable short-form content and says that, starting today and for at least the next month or so, he anticipates weekly releases on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6 pm Eastern Standard Time. He acknowledges older videos are ’not the greatest’ and a little hokey, but says he is proud of them. Live broadcasts, a staple for the past year to three years, are being put on indefinite hold because, he says, they work against channel growth and suppress the quick content he wants to deliver; live broadcasts will instead be on Twitch, every Wednesday at noon at twitch.tv/selfpublish, and in the Facebook group Self-Publishing Books Group. He closes by thanking subscribers for helping the channel pass 10,000 subscribers, which he calls a monumental, bronze-level milestone few YouTubers reach.
