Ortho Bro Visits a Trampoline Park
About this video
Flanary plays an orthopedic surgeon gleefully roaming a children’s trampoline park, warning kids in graphic detail about fractures, growth plates, and surgical hardware while treating the venue as a source of future patients. The satire targets Ortho’s enthusiasm for injury and the way a pessimistic medical viewpoint can terrify children under the guise of safety advice. The sketch escalates from sanitizer and birthday-party small talk to vivid descriptions of broken bones and fixation.
Key takeaways
- Flanary portrays Ortho as viewing a trampoline park as both hazard and referral source
- The sketch satirizes using medical expertise to frighten rather than reassure children
- Injury types name-checked include ankle and femur fractures, comminuted and greenstick fractures
