The Pediatrician Hosts a Kids Birthday Party
About this video
A pediatrician hosts a children’s birthday party and cannot stop hazard-proofing it, lecturing on choking, button batteries, drowning, car seats, and safe foods while demonstrating abdominal thrusts. Flanary satirizes how pediatric safety knowledge makes ordinary fun feel dangerous, as balloons, grapes, hot dogs, pools, and bouncy houses all trigger warnings. The affectionate point underneath is that the pediatrician’s vigilance comes from having seen preventable injuries in the emergency department.
