These NEW Etsy Trends Are About to Explode (LOW Competition) 💸

About this video

The creator presents five trends she says are not yet saturated on Etsy, sourced from outside Etsy, and stresses incorporating them into context and mockups even for digital and print-on-demand sellers. 1) Colorful opaque glass, acrylic or pearl resin — seen in kitchen and bath items, knives, spoons, trays, serving dishes and two-tone bowls; POD sellers can show the look in props, e.g. a two-tone glass mug held by a t-shirt model or marble resin spoons beside tea towels. 2) Vintage childhood aesthetic — nostalgic ’90s-inspired motifs with big glassy eyes, button noses, red mouths, pink cheeks and bright primary colors, used on stickers, graphics, greeting cards and all-over patterns for wrapping paper, wallpaper, bedding and shower curtains. 3) Functional bows — bows that actually tie curtains, close pillowcases instead of zippers, or are offered as add-on variations on candles, balloons, lamps and backdrops; pre-made bows can be bought. 4) Three-dimensional ceramics — clay/pottery with raised fruits and vegetables, bumblebees, flowers, bows, hand-formed lettering and unique handles. 5) Subtle checkers — two-tone, soft checker patterns, often cream/white with a softer or neutral color, on blankets, ceramics, kitchenware, rugs, pillows and tea towels, not stark black-and-white. She warns a trendy product in an outdated context will no longer look trendy.

Key takeaways

• Colorful opaque glass/acrylic/pearl resin: apply it to kitchen, bath and serving items, or show it in props and mockup context if you sell digital or print-on-demand.
• Vintage childhood aesthetic uses big glassy eyes, button noses, red mouths and bright primary colors for a nostalgic ’90s look in graphics, cards and all-over patterns.
• Functional bows must do a job — tie curtains, close pillowcases, or work as a paid add-on variation — and can be bought pre-made rather than hand-tied each time.
• Three-dimensional ceramics feature raised fruit, vegetables, bees, flowers, lettering and distinctive handles with an intentionally imperfect, hand-formed quality.
• Subtle checkers means soft two-tone checks with white or cream as one color, applied via seamless patterns to rugs, blankets, pillows and tea towels — not stark black-and-white.
