10 BEST Mac Apps for Productivity!
About this video
Su tours ten Mac apps he uses for efficiency. Dropzone 4 provides a drag-up grid for AirDrop and a drop bar that stages mixed files — image, PDF and audio together — into one package for sharing. AltTab restores Windows-style switching between individual windows, with separate shortcuts for all windows and for windows of the active app. MonitorControl adjusts brightness, and volume where supported, for every external display from one menu, including TVs. Moom snaps windows to custom positions via keyboard, with Rectangle named as a free alternative. Numi is a calculator that understands plain language, converting currencies, time zones and imperial-to-metric units and copying the result automatically. CheatSheet reveals an app’s shortcuts when the Command key is held. AppCleaner uninstalls apps together with their leftover files. CleanShot X handles screenshots and screen recording with annotation, blurring, numbering and clean window captures; he also maps a shortcut to copy a selection straight to the clipboard. Alfred replaces Spotlight with app launching, file finding, web searches, system commands and, in its paid tier, snippets and clipboard history, with Maccy as a free clipboard manager. Finally, Logi Options customises his Logitech mouse and keyboard buttons.
