Jono Catliff has been an entrepreneur since the day he graduated university. He started by selling tickets to nightclub events, moved into DJ services for weddings and corporate functions, then expanded into photography and videography across Canada. The businesses grew. So did the hours. At his worst, he was working 80-hour weeks on things he did not particularly love — and he realized that what actually lit him up was not the service itself. It was the automation underneath it.

He spent years rebuilding his business operations around that obsession: Make.com scenarios that routed leads automatically, GoHighLevel pipelines that handled appointments and follow-up without him, workflows for contract management, client onboarding, review collection, project coordination. One by one, he replaced himself in each part of the business. He documented the whole system on YouTube — twelve automations that ran his seven-figure service company with almost no manual intervention — and that video became the foundation of an entire teaching practice.

His channel, Automatable, is built on a single promise: every video is buildable. He does not teach theory. He builds workflows on screen, step by step, and ships a downloadable blueprint the same day the video drops. For years that meant n8n and Make.com — and he built some of the deepest tutorial libraries on either platform anywhere on YouTube. His n8n 8-Hour Masterclass has become a go-to resource for builders learning agentic automation from scratch.

In 2025 he pivoted toward Claude Code and AI-native tools, and he brought the same hands-on approach with him. His Claude Code course, his Claude Design walkthroughs, his explorations of emerging tools like Antigravity — all follow the same pattern: here is how the tool actually works, here is what I built with it, here is the blueprint. The pivot is not opportunistic. It is the same instinct that drove him toward automation in the first place: find the tools that matter right now and get inside them before everyone else catches up.

Beyond the channel, Jono runs Automatable.co, his AI automation agency, and a paid Skool community where 6,000 members work through two tracks: automate 80% of your own business in 60 days, or land your first AI automation client in 30 days. He consults hundreds of business owners monthly. The agency work is what keeps the content grounded. He is not teaching something he thinks might work.
