240 Social Media Posts in Under 10 Minutes using AI (ChatGPT + Canva)

About this video

Kate Hayes demonstrates a batch system to create 240 social media posts in under 10 minutes using ChatGPT, Google Sheets and Canva. Using elementary school teachers as the example, she prompts ChatGPT to generate 30 tips and then 30 motivational quotes, copies each list into a Google Sheet, and downloads each sheet as a CSV file. In Canva she picks a template for an Instagram square post, adjusts fonts and colours to her brand, then uses the Bulk Create app to upload the CSV, connect the data to the text element, and generate a design for every tip or quote. With Canva Pro’s resize feature she resizes the graphics for Facebook and other sizes. She repeats the same Bulk Create process on a video template for Reels to make short videos, optionally swapping the background stock video for each quote, and downloads videos as MP4 and graphics as JPG or PNG. The math is 30 tips plus 30 quotes multiplied across graphic and video formats for multiple platforms. She also offers a free guide with 95 prompts in five categories for content ideas.

Key takeaways

• Generate content in bulk with ChatGPT first: in the example, 30 tips and 30 motivational quotes for a specific audience
• Move the lists through Google Sheets and download them as CSV files, which Canva’s Bulk Create app requires
• Use Canva Bulk Create to connect the CSV data to a template’s text element and automatically generate one design per row
• Repurpose one set of designs across platforms and formats (Instagram posts, Facebook posts, Reels/Shorts and stories) to reach 240 pieces from 60 source items
• Download graphics as JPG or PNG and videos as MP4, and use Canva Pro resize to adapt one design to other platform sizes
