Free AI Video Generator on Your PC (No Subscriptions, No Limits)

About this video

Kevin shows how to generate AI video entirely on your own PC for free, with no subscriptions, usage limits, or uploads, using open-source models such as LTX-2 and Wan. He first checks system requirements in Task Manager, noting you need a dedicated, ideally NVIDIA, GPU with at least six to eight gigabytes of VRAM, with more enabling better performance and longer clips. To avoid manual Python and CUDA setup, he installs Pinokio, a one-click installer for AI tools, then installs the Wan2GP script inside it, which runs multiple video models in one interface. He chooses the distilled version of LTX-2 for consumer GPUs, picks a memory profile matching his hardware, and demonstrates generation modes: text-only prompts, image plus text, providing an end image, and extending an existing video, noting LTX-2 can also generate matching audio and spoken lines from the prompt.

Key takeaways

• Local AI video is free and private but needs an NVIDIA GPU with 6-8GB+ VRAM
• Pinokio installs AI tools and dependencies in one click, avoiding manual setup
• Wan2GP runs several open models, including Wan and LTX-2, in one interface
• Distilled models are smaller and run better on consumer GPUs
• Generate from text, an image, an end frame, or by extending a video
