Jotform AI Form Builder: Create Forms in Seconds

About this video

Kevin demonstrates Jotform’s AI Form Builder, in partnership with Jotform, by typing one sentence to generate a complete form instead of dragging fields manually. His example prompt creates an event registration form for cookie tasting events with name, email, phone number, dietary preferences, session selection, and a signature field, and the AI orders the fields in a sensible structure that can then be refined. Using the Form Copilot AI on the right, he adds a ‘how did you hear about this event’ field by typing, then uses voice to remove the phone number field and change the form background to light brown and the outer background to dark brown. He also has the AI set up conditional logic so the referral question only appears after a session is selected, and verifies it in preview. After publishing via link or embed, he switches to the inbox, where the AI summarizes all submissions and answers specific questions, such as which session is most popular. Kevin notes manual form elements and the form designer remain available, and getting started is free.

Key takeaways

• Describe the form in a prompt and Jotform generates a structured draft with the requested fields; more specific prompts produce more customized forms
• Form Copilot AI handles edits by text or voice, including adding and removing fields and changing background colors, while manual tools stay available
• Conditional logic can be created by describing it in plain language, for example only showing a question after a session is selected
• Forms can be published by copying a link or embedding on a website
• In the inbox, the AI can summarize all responses and answer targeted questions about the collected data, such as the most popular session
