Suno AI Music Generator – I Hummed a Tune, It Made a Song!

About this video

Kevin demonstrates Suno’s Upload Audio flow for turning a hummed tune into a full song. He goes to Suno.com, signs in, clicks Create then Upload Audio, agrees to the terms, and either uploads an existing file or records directly in the interface. He trims silence from the start and end of his recording, saves it with a name (‘Steven’s Awesome Tune’) and the default image, then uses Extend to apply the AI magic. In Extend he toggles on Instrumental / No Singing, picks a style — Catchy 80s Pop Hit — and generates versions that incorporate his melody, playing back two results. He notes you can remaster from the three-dot Create menu for better quality and download a WAV file when happy. He frames it as a way for anyone to turn a tune in their head into a song, and for musicians to quickly prototype ideas and styles before building out a full song, saying it helps democratize music creation.

Key takeaways

• In Suno, go Create > Upload Audio to upload a file or record a hum directly in the browser after signing in and agreeing to terms
• Trim silence from the beginning and end of the recording before saving and naming it
• Use Extend to transform the tune: toggle Instrumental for no vocals, choose a style such as Catchy 80s Pop Hit, and generate
• Generated versions are meant to incorporate your original melody; you can listen and compare the outputs
• From the three-dot menu you can remaster for higher quality and download the final result as a WAV file
