Change the Way You See Life
The world you experience is shaped by attention. Change the way you see, and the same life can become less hostile, less rushed, and more alive.

The Lesson
“This Will Change the Way You See Life” fits Todd’s body of work because his teaching keeps returning to perception. We do not only live in events. We live in the meaning the mind gives those events.
One person sees a delay and feels punished. Another sees space. One person sees criticism and becomes a self-defense project. Another sees information. One person sees uncertainty and collapses. Another sees mystery. The outer event matters, but the inner lens determines how much suffering gets added.
The spiritual move is not to fake a positive lens. It is to see the lens clearly. When the mind is frightened, it filters for threat. When it is attached, it filters for loss. When it is present, it can see more than the problem.
Reflection
- What lens am I wearing most often right now?
- What does my fear keep filtering out?
- What would this moment look like if I did not need to defend an identity?
- Where am I confusing my interpretation with reality?
- What small beauty is available even inside an imperfect day?
Practice
Do a three-lens review.
Choose one current problem. Write it three ways:
- The fear lens says…
- The control lens says…
- The presence lens says…
Do not force the third answer. Sit quietly until a calmer sentence appears. Then take one action from that sentence.
