Garden of Compassion | Malte Marten on Ayasa Handpans

About this video

From 2021, “Garden of Compassion” is a 7 minutes 7 seconds entry in Malte Marten’s instrumental handpan library on his Malte Marten Music channel. Nothing in the title asks for a task to be completed; it is a handpan performance offered for listening over its full running time. That makes it flexible — foreground on a quiet evening, or background while the room does something else. It has 209,319 views in the catalog snapshot.

Key takeaways

• With no task named in the title, the listener chooses the setting: foreground or background both fit.
• The full running time suits an unhurried listen rather than a preview.
• It pairs naturally with the channel’s longer sessions for an evening of one instrument.
• The running time is 7 minutes 7 seconds, so one play can be planned as a single block rather than a playlist of fragments.
• There are no lyrics to follow; the practice, if any, is attention itself.
