YataoPan | Malte Marten | Kurd 10

About this video

Published in 2022, “YataoPan” gives the listener 3 minutes 9 seconds from the Malte Marten Music handpan catalog. Nothing in the title asks for a task to be completed; it is a handpan performance offered for listening over its full running time. That makes it flexible — foreground on a quiet evening, or background while the room does something else. Its billing as “Kurd 10” is the clearest clue to how it was presented on release. It has 31,502 views in the catalog snapshot.

Key takeaways

• With no task named in the title, the listener chooses the setting: foreground or background both fit.
• The full running time suits an unhurried listen rather than a preview.
• It pairs naturally with the channel’s longer sessions for an evening of one instrument.
• The running time is 3 minutes 9 seconds, so one play can be planned as a single block rather than a playlist of fragments.
• There are no lyrics to follow; the practice, if any, is attention itself.
