Houthis Fire Missiles at US F-16s and Immediately Regret it!

About this video

Max presents a hypothetical or dramatized scenario set on February 19, 2025, in which Houthi rebels fire missiles at U.S. F-16CJ fighter jets operating near the Yemeni coast. According to Max’s account, the F-16CJs were conducting a Wild Weasel mission to suppress enemy air defenses and served as bait to draw out Houthi radar sites. Max describes how both jets evaded SA-67 surface-to-air missiles through high-G maneuvers, after which U.S. Navy assets—including destroyers, EA-18G Growlers, and F/A-18F strike aircraft—launched a coordinated counterattack that destroyed the radar sites, missile launchers, and command posts.

Key takeaways

• Max explains that the F-16CJ Block 52 is specially equipped for Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) missions, carrying AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles and advanced avionics to detect and destroy radar installations.
• Max recounts that both F-16CJs successfully evaded incoming SA-67 missiles by performing 9-G barrel rolls and dropping external fuel tanks to increase maneuverability, despite being targeted twice.
• Max describes how the U.S. carrier strike group coordinated a multi-layered response using Tomahawk cruise missiles, EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft, and F/A-18F strike fighters to eliminate the Houthi air defense network after the jets were fired upon.
