How a Fighter Jet Would Shoot Down a UFO

About this video

Max presents a hypothetical scenario analyzing how a fighter jet would engage a UFO in aerial combat. He argues that the F-22 or F-35 would be the best platforms due to their stealth and integration with unmanned wingmen, and outlines a step-by-step engagement sequence: medium-range AIM-120 missiles first, then short-range AIM-9X missiles, and finally 20mm cannon fire if the object remains stationary long enough. Max speculates that using unmanned aircraft as decoys and distractions would be critical, given the reported extreme speed and maneuverability of such objects.

Key takeaways

• Max argues the F-22 and F-35 would be optimal for engaging a UFO due to their stealth capabilities and ability to coordinate with unmanned wingmen as decoys
• Max outlines an engagement sequence starting with AIM-120 medium-range missiles to observe the target’s reaction, then AIM-9X short-range missiles, and finally 20mm cannon fire if opportunities arise
• Max suggests that UFOs may be vulnerable when stationary, citing Commander Fravor’s encounter, and notes that the existence of recovered fragments indicates these objects can be damaged
