How DRONE STRIKES Would Target Mexican Cartels!

About this video

Max presents a hypothetical and speculative scenario analyzing how U.S. drone strikes could be used against Mexican cartels following the Trump administration’s designation of cartels as terrorist organizations. He walks through different drone categories—from small hand-launched reconnaissance drones (RQ-11 class) to medium tactical trackers (RQ-21 Blackjack) to large strike platforms (MQ-1 Predator, MQ-9 Reaper, RQ-4 Global Hawk, and MQ-4C Triton). Max explains how each platform could theoretically be used for intelligence gathering or kinetic strikes against cartel compounds and fentanyl production facilities, particularly those supplying Phoenix, which he states receives 60% of seized U.S. fentanyl.

Key takeaways

• Max outlines a hypothetical phased approach to counter-cartel operations, starting with small drones for immediate tactical reconnaissance, medium drones for pattern-of-life tracking, and large strike drones like the MQ-1 with Hellfire missiles to destroy manufacturing facilities.
• Max argues that precision weapons like Hellfires are critical because cartels operate within civilian populations to reduce the likelihood of being targeted by Western forces aiming to minimize collateral damage.
• Max suggests that larger jet-powered drones like the MQ-4C Triton could potentially be adapted to carry air-to-air missiles to intercept cartel aircraft attempting to flee during strikes, which he acknowledges is a rare and speculative scenario.
