How Russia and the USA Would Actually Fight Each Other

About this video

Max presents a hypothetical scenario analyzing what would happen if Russia and the United States entered into direct military conflict. He reviews historical flashpoints like the Cuban Missile Crisis, NATO expansion, and current proxy wars, then examines how each nation would deploy its military assets across air, sea, and land domains. Max argues that air superiority would be the decisive factor, and that the doctrine of mutually assured destruction would ideally prevent nuclear escalation.

Key takeaways

• Max argues that achieving and maintaining air superiority would be the most critical factor determining the outcome of a US-Russia conflict, with the US likely deploying F-22s and F-35s against Russian Su-57s and fourth-generation fighters.
• According to Max, the US would rely on carrier strike groups for naval power projection, while Russia would counter primarily with its submarine fleet rather than surface vessels.
• Max contends that the doctrine of mutually assured destruction (MAD) would be the primary deterrent preventing nuclear escalation between the two nuclear superpowers.
