Iran Targets U.S. Navy Carrier Then THIS HAPPENED!

About this video

Max analyzes recent kinetic encounters in the Arabian Sea and Strait of Hormuz, where he describes a US Navy F-35C shooting down an Iranian Shahed 139 drone near the USS Abraham Lincoln and Iranian fastboats attempting to board a US-flagged tanker before being deterred by a destroyer. He breaks down the aircraft, weapons systems, and naval assets involved, then explores what he views as Iran’s tactical calculus and walks through a hypothetical drone swarm scenario with potential US countermeasures.

Key takeaways

• Max describes recent escalations as Iranian tactics testing US response times and resolve during nuclear negotiations, using drones and fastboats in what he characterizes as asymmetric harassment
• The F-35C, EA-18G Growler, and Arleigh Burke-class destroyers form layered defenses against drone swarms; Max advocates for cost-effective weapons like the APKWS laser-guided rocket ($25k) instead of expensive missiles against cheap drones
• Max views these incidents as ‘4D chess’ where Iran may be probing defenses ahead of talks or preparing for potential US strikes, with implications for oil markets and regional proxy conflicts
