Real Fighter Pilot Dogfights LIVE!

About this video

Max live streams himself flying an F-15C in a Digital Combat Simulator mission where he defends against a hypothetical scenario of Iranian-backed Houthi rebels launching jet-powered drones against Israel. He engages multiple drones and Su-33 fighters, discussing tactics like using AMRAAMs and visual lock modes. Throughout the stream, Max critiques DCS for what he argues is unrealistic throttling of the F-15C’s thrust capabilities and provides commentary on real-world developments regarding a potential airstrip being built on an island off Yemen’s coast.

Key takeaways

• Max simulates a hypothetical engagement against Houthi rebel drones and Iranian Su-33 fighters, attempting to intercept them before they reach the Israeli coast
• Max argues that DCS unrealistically limits the F-15C’s thrust and maneuverability compared to the real aircraft he flew
• Max discusses a real airstrip reportedly being built on Ab al-Kuri Island off Yemen, which he speculates may be constructed by the UAE to maintain shipping lanes in the Gulf of Aden
